These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Veya mobile application (the "App") provided by Veyahealth LLC ("Veya", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What Veya is — and is not
Veya is an information and personal-wellness guidance tool. It is NOT a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional health services. Information in the App (including biological-age estimates, blood-work interpretations, genetic insights, supplement and nutrition suggestions, and AI coach responses) is for educational purposes only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health, medication, or supplement decision. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something in the App. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.
- You are responsible for any decisions you make based on information in the App.
- Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the App.
4. Subscriptions & billing
The App may offer auto-renewing subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and billed to your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its content, design, and trademarks (including "Veya") are owned by Veyahealth LLC and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use. You retain ownership of the data you enter.
6. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services (e.g. Apple HealthKit, Anthropic's Claude API for the AI coach, Open Food Facts). Your use of those features may be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veyahealth LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any health outcomes, decisions, or losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may modify the App or these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
